Taking over Chargeforwards from Mastercard's Ethoca in 2025, Matt brought over a decade of experience across payments, fraud prevention and chargebacks. His scheme knowledge and collaboration with merchants gave him first-hand insight into the operational challenges caused by disconnected fraud, dispute and compliance processes. Recognising that every merchant operates differently, Matt helped evolve Chargeforwards into a broader risk and workflow platform designed to adapt around each client, connecting fraud prevention, dispute management, onboarding and identity verification into one intelligent workflow.

Billy is the founding engineer behind the Chargeforwards platform, responsible for architecting and building the system from the ground up. Passionate about technology, systems and security from an early age, Billy leads platform engineering, backend infrastructure and integrations, ensuring Chargeforwards remains scalable, reliable and adaptable as the business and customer base continue to grow. He strongly believes in customer-led development and building practical solutions around real operational problems, helping shape a platform designed to adapt around how merchants actually work.

Aengus brings over 12 years of experience across fraud prevention, risk operations and product strategy. Having worked across companies including Smyths, Wayfair and Booking.com, Aengus combines deep operational fraud knowledge with a strong focus on AI, machine learning and data-driven risk decisioning. At Chargeforwards, he helps shape fraud strategy and product direction across risk, abuse prevention and workflow automation, as well as ensuring customers are equipped with the knowledge, strategy and operational experience needed to reduce fraud exposure effectively. Aengus particularly enjoys working closely with merchants to solve complex fraud challenges and turn data-driven insights into practical outcomes.

Harry plays a key role in the day-to-day operations of Chargeforwards, helping ensure the business and platform run smoothly as the company continues to scale. Working closely with merchants and partners, he supports operational delivery, customer support and workflow coordination across the platform, helping maintain the high level of responsiveness and service that Chargeforwards is built around.
